SIPPS Intervention Works!
The SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phoneme Awareness, Phonics and Sight Words) program with its emphasis on phonemic awareness, decoding and word recognition, fluency and vocabulary development matches four of the key skill areas addressed in the U.S. Department of Education's Reading First (RF) guidelines.
